Tyne Daly, Tony Award winning singer (“Gypsy”) and Emmy Award winning actress (“Cagney & Lacey,” “Christy” and “Judging Amy”) sings and tells stories and dispenses good humor and wisdom with a self-effacing generosity that may bring to mind your favorite baby sitter from childhood. When in a playful mode, she makes the whole world seem brand-new and wondrous.
“Songs’” sensitive musical arrangements are by St. Louis native John McDaniel, conductor, composer, orchestrator, record producer, Grammy and two-time Emmy Award-winner.

March 3 – 6, 2010
Native St. Louisan Lennie Watts is an engaging singer of style and substance who is witty and astute in his patter that begins about Barry and somehow winds up about Lennie. In his current show, he channels Barry Manilow in an exhilarating evening of songs and anecdotes about the man, the singer, the songwriter, the recording star. With admiration and affection, he speaks of Manilow in a presentation that is more than a tribute.
Watts entertainingly educates the audience, as he extols his idol and sings his songs. “Finally, someone gets what I have been doing all my life…” ~ Barry Manilow

April 7 – 10, 2010
Eric Michael Gillett, award-winning vocalist and Broadway actor, uses the silver screen as a jumping off point, borrowing songs written specifically for motion pictures "What Are You Doing the Rest of Your Life?”, "Theme from Valley of the Dolls", "Time After Time" and "Moon River" and marries them to music from theater "I Can't Make This Movie" and "As If We Never Said Goodbye" and contemporary pop "Widescreen" and "Erroll Flynn" to explore the world of film and the fantasies, illusions and lies that fill our lives.

April 28 - 30 & May 1, 2010
Karen Akers is throwing a party in the Kranzberg Arts Center and she is serving the most delightful, delicious, de-lovely hors-d'oeuvres. When her co-host is composer/lyricist Cole Porter, the ambiance is ‘Anything Goes’. The chic, statuesque Akers brings her note-perfect musicality, intelligence, and depth to the Porter songbook while also including the element of surprise.
